Since I wasn't able to complete the first elevator pitch assignment, this is my first elevator pitch. I read other comments on other people's elevator pitches, and a lot of people suggested to be enthusiastic and to use excited body language. I tried to follow these people's advice and be more relatable during my pitch. I wanted to set a mood so people can really relate to the need of my product. I think there is a lot of room for improvement, but I can't wait to hear what people have to say about my elevator pitch.

ReplyDeleteGreat job on your speech. You appeared to be pretty comfortable with your speech and got your point across very well. I think your business plan was also a great idea. I didn’t hear if you said that it operated on a battery, but seeing this is portable, I assumed that your pod idea is. This could be used anywhere if portable enough, not only in schools, libraries, etc. but also in airports, buses, and even cars. How many times do we need to plug in and realize too many people in the car are using the only connections available. Again, great speech.

ReplyDeleteI love how personable you sounded in your pitch. The video itself could use a bit more improvement. Perhaps better lighting and what not. As for the idea, I believe portable chargers already exist. I know that I had one for my phone freshman year because I would take a bus down to Miami and I needed my phone to be charged during that time. In the next pitch, I would seek to emphasize the difference between a normal portable charger and yours.

I think that your idea would be very helpful for college students, as I know I personally struggle in finding an outlet at the library.
